NEWS RELEASE

The Women’s Rights Committee has entered into a partnership with the Résonantes association, which is developing the "App-Elles" personal security app, to include the Principality of Monaco.

This app is designed to provide assistance and support to victims and witnesses of violence and has been developed to save users time and make it easier for them to find emergency information and contacts in their local area. All Monegasque safety, assistance, advice and emergency resources are listed.

Furthermore, "App-Elles" can be used to quickly alert and contact loved ones designated as trusted third parties and to find all the facilities available in a particular area. This easy-to-trigger alert system records and shares a situation with third parties in real time.

"App-Elles" relays local information and national schemes from over 14 countries, including the Principality of Monaco.

The app is free and available on all the major app stores.

This initiative is part of a wider effort to enhance the resources available via digital technology to combat domestic violence by giving anyone living in or visiting Monaco fast access to support and the opportunity to act as a trusted third party.

The Résonantes association will be attending workshops on 26 and 27 September at the Maison du Numérique in the Jardins d'Apolline, 1 Promenade Honoré II, where you can discover more about App-Elles.
